This problem is bad when I'm slowing down for a red light, once it gets down to 30mph it down shifts really hard, i took it to a transmission specialist and they hooked up the machine and said that there were no codes that came up and that it was something that had to be fixed in the computer not the transmission itself. I just purchased this vehicle with every last dollar i had saved and i am no happy with it at all.

Wouldn't cover with warranty because problem was had to be fixed in the computer, not in the transmission itself. Sneaky way for them to get out of paying a warranty, isn't it?!!

I got my transmission serviced at 94,500 which included changing the filter and 5 quarts of fluid. However, I was unaware that this type of service could "loosen debris in my transmission fluid and cause valves to malfunction"...according to the repair shop owner. Come to find out from another mechanic, this is an issue with my car's computer and it needed to be flashed which cost me $100.
The repair shop recommended that I get my transmission flushed for $200 to try and solve the problem and if that didn't work then I would probably need to get a new transmission!
No wonder why women feel like they're always getting ripped off when taking their cars to mechanics!
