The drivers door sensor detects the drivers door remains open. The interior lights will not turn off unless the car is in drive and has travel at least 200 feet. When the car is off, the interior lights remain on and/or they will come on spontaneously. At night this posses a safety hazard as you cannot visualize where you are driving when in reverse. The reflection prevents a clear view of your surroundings at night. Additionally, the car alarm spontaneously engages. I have had to leave my office multiple times to turn off my car alarm to prevent my battery from dying. This is an ongoing problem for the model of Ford vehicle. This should be a factory recall as it is a hazard.
