CarComplaints.com Notes: A frustrating electrical issue is causing an ever-present “door ajar” warning light for 2011-2013 Ford Edge owners. Even with the doors latched shut, faulty sensors convince the vehicle’s computer they aren’t. With no way to override the system, owners have no choice but to stare at the warning light, listen to the warning chimes when the car is stopped, and deal with interior lights that won’t shut off.

I paid a lot of money for this car and it has been a huge disappointment, I have fixed the brakes twice each costing a lot of money I am never going to buy a Ford again. I have 64,000 km on this car and have paid out thousands of dollars in repairs!

rusty brake drums, rotors frozen due to rust

I was told by the mechanic that this is a common occurrence with Ford products. Today I noticed the drum again is covered with rust. I have no idea how to stop this from reoccurring.
