CarComplaints.com Notes: A frustrating electrical issue is causing an ever-present “door ajar” warning light for 2011-2013 Ford Edge owners. Even with the doors latched shut, faulty sensors convince the vehicle’s computer they aren’t. With no way to override the system, owners have no choice but to stare at the warning light, listen to the warning chimes when the car is stopped, and deal with interior lights that won’t shut off.

Vehicle lost power while going down the road and the wrench light came on. I managed to get vehicle to side of road. Turned vehicle off, then restarted it. This could have been a disaster if I was on the highway. The sudden loss of power is a very dangerous problem. Could have caused a major accident! I've heard others have this same problem. This needs to be recalled and fixed before people are killed. I had the vehicle towed to the dealership. They replaced the throttle body.
