CarComplaints.com Notes: A frustrating electrical issue is causing an ever-present “door ajar” warning light for 2011-2013 Ford Edge owners. Even with the doors latched shut, faulty sensors convince the vehicle’s computer they aren’t. With no way to override the system, owners have no choice but to stare at the warning light, listen to the warning chimes when the car is stopped, and deal with interior lights that won’t shut off.

The car wouldn't pass smog and was giving a P0455/P0456 codes. I first replaced the purge valve, which didn't work. We investigated the whole fuel system ourselves because most mechanics refused to work on it because of the cap-less tank. We finally found that part of the filler neck is plastic!!!!!! At the top of the filler neck the plastic came apart from the metal. We ordered an $85 replacement filler neck, which was easy to install.
