CarComplaints.com Notes: There was plenty of hope that Ford would fix their “door ajar†warning light issue for the 2014 model year. This widespread problem has caused the previous 3 model years to stay on top of defect trend lists.
So far, the 2014 Edge doesn't share the poor reputation of prior model years.

I've had my Edge for 4 months and it is aggravating that I am already having an issue with it. Apparently, after doing a search online, there seems to be a number of complaints from Ford Edge owners with this exact same windshield crack problem. All complaints are from a crack that starts at the frame with no other evidence of impact anywhere else on the windshield glass. This is a defect caused by manufacturer installation & should be covered by warranty!!!!! My Edge is only 4 months old!!!
