This has been a pain in my ass, a complete loss of time that I will not get back. I will probably never purchase another Ford in my life or anything with two piece spark plugs and coil packs for sure. And this is the third time I've had to do it since owning the truck.

damaged spark plugs

Tried to remove spark plugs on my 04 F150 Lariat with the 3 valve 5.4 triton, the plugs will not break loose. Don't want to break off the plugs, will have to remove the heads.

This little problem stranded my boy and I 45 miles from home. Just got lucky friends were behind us since we were on our way to his football game. Left it on the side of interstate and had to have it towed home. Been sitting ever since!

Ethanol is no friend to fuel injectors, that much we know. Mine were streaming more than spraying and this can cause too much fuel to remain in the intake manifold and damage the spark plugs, if you are having to replace spark plugs way too often.there is a good chance that it may be the injectors. That is unless you have the coil over plug V-8 engine, they had problems from the ecm all the way to the spark plugs, and you had to replace them all at the same time to correct the problem.
