Design and Placement of this module is ridiculous.....Aluminum placed up against a metal crossbar...I am shocked this lasted this long before rotting out....bad place for electronics...Ford Engineers should go back to school.

truck failed to start stranding my wife and I. sat for 3 days till i had it hooked up to diagnostic. showed no problem, towed truck to replace fuel pump, no change, replace fuel module which fixed problem. real problem is, it should have never happened. Fuel module (aluminum back/plastic front) was mounted directly to frame where it naturally oxidized and ultimately failed. Ford should have never mounted it on the frame. Explorers have it mounted inside the cab.
