Compressor failed twice. Not much else to say when you don't have AC and it's 100 degrees.

Purchased vehicle used from a dealer in April. Never used the AC but when I tried, there was no cold air. Had it inspected and it was reported that the charge was low and that the compressor diode needed changing. After the repair, the AC worked for 30 minutes and then nothing. Had it inspected again, and now the air compressor needs to be replaced. Really? not even 50,000 miles and the AC needs to be repaired. Estimated cost to replace (parts and labor) $950.
