Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

2009 F150 supercrew XLT. The dash reflects onto the windshield causing visibility problems. It is like a headsup in a fighter aircraft. Laying a black piece of felt cloth stops the problem, but the cloth causes a problem sliding off. The dash material is too reflective.

While driving down the road, my right rear window just dropped. The window did not brake, the window just dropped into the door. I was able to take the molding off and tape the window up. This is the second time this has occurred since owning the vehicle. The first time it was the driver's window. I have not fixed the problem yet, but have done some research and found out it is actually the regulator that went bad.

2009 Ford F150 FX4. New, 900 miles on the truck. Sunroof shattered into hundreds of tiny pieces while truck was sitting in the garage. Lucky for me, the Ford dealer where I bought the truck repaired it at no cost and let me use a loaner truck. I was without my truck for about a week, this would have been extremely dangerous if it had shattered while driving.
