Sometimes my backup camera works, sometimes it does not. Image can be distorted or opposite. I see there is a recall for this exact problem, just not applied to my year of vehicle. Have had this problem with Ford before. exact problem confirmed by dealership but no recall for my year. I call and ask to speak to a manager for an explanation why and am told they will return my call in a few days and they never do. The last person I spoke with actually laughed a little and said if they have not done anything by now they are not going to. My guess is they don't have a logical reason why they will fix the same issue in one years model but not in another years model for same problem.
