Shortly after having warranty work on the wiring in the tailgate the wind shield wipers came on even with the switch turned to 'off'. Tried every function on the wiper actuator but nothing would make it stop. The next day the wipers did not come on. Then it started again in a week or two. Back off overnight but now it will not stop. They have been running every time I go somewhere for the past week.
The wipers only come on about every 15-20 seconds but the instruction manual says not to run the wipers when it is not wet as it may damage the windshield. I guess I will have to take it back to the dealership but then I worry that something else will go wrong after they work on it.
