The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving approximately 25 MPH and slowing for traffic at an intersection, his brakes failed as he depressed the brake pedal. The contact stated that his vehicle crashed into the rear of the vehicle in front of him. The contact stated that his air bags deployed. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the front end of his hood and grill were crushed, and that the radiator had been ruptured. The contact stated that the other vehicle had suffered damage to trunk and rear bumper. The contact stated that there were no injuries to him or the other driver. The contact said that the police were on scene and wrote a report. The contact stated that his vehicle had been towed to his residence, he was not sure if the other vehicle had been towed. The contact's vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The contact had researched online and related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V150000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving uphill at an undisclosed speed, the brake pedal would go to the floorboard while depressed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and diagnosed that the brake master cylinder was leaking. The brake master cylinder needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to file a complaint with NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-150. The contact stated that brake pedal stiffened without warning which had made it difficult to depress the brake pedal while driving at various speeds. The contact had taken the vehicle to tindol Ford (1901 E franklin blvd, gastonia, nc 28054) where an inspection was performed on the vehicle however, the dealer found no fault with his brakes or brake master cylinder. Upon investigation, the contact linked the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 20V332000 (service brakes, hydraulic) however, the vehicle was not included. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 27,000. Consumer stated he took the vehicle to a different dealer and had it diagnosed vehicle had a defective brake booster, parts were unavailable.
