Go out to start truck, no key detected. Went inside to get second set, same thing. Tried placing in fob receptacle under cup holder. Nothing. Called dealer where purchased just 18 days prior. Still no luck, had me disconnect battery for one hour. Started right up no issue. Set appointment for next day, drive hour to dealer to be told nothing found, no codes. Mind you, this is NOT a battery issue. All fob keys new, car battery at full charge. Could stand inside house and remote start but get in truck and shifter locked and step on brake and it stalled out, and I can't restart.

Dealer said likely just a fluke and to let them know should it happen again. 5 days later it did it again. Had to leave battery terminals off for 2 hours this time in order to start. Drive to dealer again, another hour drive, dropped it off, took home a loaner until they figure out reason and remedy it. None of the logical reasons fit, none of the typical fixes work either. Can't trust this won't happen again, daily, weekly, etc. Fear of getting stuck with no tools and having to wait until either it starts after taking battery terminals off or I wait for a ride. 3rd vehicle worth push button start so this setup isn't new to me. Any thoughts? Computer issue? Need to reprogram fobs? Any help is appreciated.
