2022 Ford F-150
TSB Document:
Affected Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:BODY CONTROL MODULE/BCM
- Summary
- Some 2022 model year F-150s may exhibit an inoperative headlamp after a Body Control Module (BCM) software update. There may also be BCM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) B14E5:08 and/or B14E7:08 present. This may be due to a software incompatibility between the headlamp Light Emitting Diode (LED) control module and the BCM. If this condition occurs after a BCM software update, confirm the BCM is at the latest software level and replace the headlamp LED module on the affected headlamp. Follow Workshop Manual (WSM) procedure in Section 417-01.
