Recently when I got in my 1995 F250 w/manual transmission I depressed the clutch pedal to start it up & the pedal went to the floorboard & stayed there. What I found after inspecting the clutch pedal was that the end of the rod that goes into the master clutch cylinder broke (this is connected to the peddle). This rod appears to be plastic on the end & metal going into the master cylinder. My concern is that this seems to be a safety issue. If I was driving this truck and this rod broke while I was trying to stop quickly (or stop at any time) then it would have been very difficult to stop since the clutch wouldn't have engaged. I have photos of this part as evidence if needed.
