In cold weather on the 7.3 gas engine, starting up the vehicle lets out an ungodly loud hissing sound. It goes away after a couple minutes. The forums indicate a lot of other 7.3's reporting the same issue and had their fan clutch replaced and some belts/pulleys. I haven't had this looked at yet.
