The contact owns a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact that while starting the vehicle, there was an abnormal clicking sound coming from the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle lost power and would not immediately restart. The vehicle restarted after waiting for a while. No warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure recurred several times. The contact then received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V813000 (Electrical System) which he associated with the failure. The local dealer was contacted but was unable to schedule the recall repair due to the parts not being available. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000. (Recall Related Incident)

Stevens creek Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram located at 4100 stevens creek blvd, san jose, ca 95129 (408) 248-1800, was contacted and informed of the failure. The contact was informed that the part to fix the vehicle was on back order. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000.
