I have a Toyota camery 2013. I have no accident at all since I bought this car. But about 1 year ago, my airbag light is on automatically with on reason. I felt my life is in danger because if there is a collision happens, my airbag wont pump out. I have visited to different car dealor. They said the wire circuit might be wrong since they tried to switch airbag modules or the sensor nothing works so far. I assume the airbag which is the key component for our drivers' safety should be more robust than what I experienced.
The airbag safety light has come on and remained on for 2 weeks the dealership told me it's a failed sensor. I have never been on a car crash. The airbag sensor is expected to remain functional for the life of the vehicle. Otherwise, my airbag might deploy unexpectedly or fail to deploy when I need them.
I was in a car accident with a light pole no caught of mine E the front end of my car smashed in and my air bag didn't deploy a D when my foot was on the brakes and the car accelerated with the gas with out me hitting it.

The contact owned a 2013 Toyota Camry. While driving 30 mph, the driver's side of the contact's vehicle was struck by another vehicle. The front driver's side wheel became detached and the air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The contact's head struck the door frame and window on the driver's side. Medical attention was not required. The vehicle was towed to the insurance lot and deemed a total loss. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. A vehicle hit my car and left the scene. Both my legs were lacerated so badly that the right could be only partially repaired and the left could not be repaired and need skin grafts. My airbag light came on. I contacted Toyota regarding this issue and I was told they have already fixed the issue and it is out of warranty so it is my problem now. I don't see how they can skirt their responsibility. They were the last ones dealing with the airbags and maybe what they did was not a complete fix. Everything on my steering wheel will not work; horn, cruise control, phone, radio volume. I do believe my horn is a safety issue. Thank you for your help in these matters.
I was hit in the left front corner of my car and then tearing off the front of the vehicle. Airbags did not deploy and a suffer from a fractured sternum, and severely bruised right hand and left knee.I have been told that had my airbags deployed I would not have suffered a broken sternum. I was heading South going less than 10 mph maybe less than 5 mph as I entered the intersection of 150 th and N western ave in Oklahoma city ok. The contact was transported by ambulance to the hospital. The contact sustained a fractured sternum and a bruised right hand. The vehicle was towed to an independent facility. The dealer was unable to provide any information. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 45,000. The vehicle was destroyed.
Unexpected acceleration on January 30, 2017, at 7:50 am, my car experienced ua in my office parking lot at 4917 waters edge drive, raleigh, nc 27606 while backing into a parking space. My car increased speed, knocking down a wooden retaining wall and attempting to climb a hill. I then after several attempts was able to placed the car in drive only to have it shoot across the parking lot, T-boning a car entering and knocking it on the sidewalk while I continued onto the yard. I was finally able to placed car in drive and the motor continued to rev until after several attempts was able to shut it down. Of note, none of my car's airbags deployed. However, the other vehicle's both side passenger air bags deployed. I went on line and reported my problem to Toyota with pictures and police report the next day. They asked for a written consent to allow them to get the data recorder. After numerous calls to follow-up, on May 12 I received a response that when they drove the vehicle everything was fine.
Two occurrences of rodent damage to soy based wiring of car engine and chewing on air bags while parked in the garage.. futhermore, I have a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu that has been parked in the garage for 14 years and a 1996 Toyota corolla that was parked in the garage for 9 years without and damage to wiring. Takata recall; my car was involved in a accident that required my car to be totaled. After reviewing the damage to the front end, we are concerned that the air bags did not come out in this accident.
