Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Hand brake doesn't hold well. Also, when the hand brake is on and you or your passenger gets out of the car it makes a noise like you weight 5000 pounds a very loud squeak. It's not exactly a squeak, it sounds like they forgot to grease the suspension its that kind of noise. Or if you put a little weight on the fender when the hand brake is on it does the same thing. Not a lot of weight just your hand pushing down gently..this should be an embarrassment for Toyota. The dealership says there is nothing wrong with the brakes. I beg to differ! I probably will never buy a Toyota again.
