Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

I received a notice months ago from Toyota that the front passenger air bag inflator module is defective. They stated that a passenger should not ride in the car until the defect is fixed. It has been months and they still do not have the parts to fix this issue. This is ridiculous that they can't immediately fix this issue.

Toyota is delayed in providing remedy for the "front passenger airbag inflator module recall" on my car. Toyota recommends not using the front passenger seat until then. This is not feasible since our family has only one car, we carry dogs/kids in the back seat, and my husband and I must be sitting in the front. Toyota dealer sunnyvale (ca) is not able to provide a loaner free of charge until remedy is available.
