"takata recall" - I received a recall on this defect a number of months ago. It appears to be a very dangerous problem. I have contacted the dealer numerous times but they continue to tell me they do not have the parts to repair the recall and they can do nothing for me. With a defect this severe I believe they should be required to repair this much quicker to get me and others out of harms way. If they can not repair the problem I should be given a loaner car. It is certainly not acceptable to have a car that no one can ride in the front seat. We do not have alternatives or the funds to simply park the car and wait.

Takata recall has not been replaced and it has been about a year and a half and it is on the red zone and the dealer still says, they do not have the parts to replace and they can not tell me what kind of airbag is on drivers side and all they tell me is it's on intermittent recall. How long do I have to stress about driving this vehicle, their solution is just don't have anyone sit in front seat. I take care of elderly parents and they cannot climb into the backseat for doctors appointments, how much more time do I have to stress over this situation?

Takata recall. I would like to file a complaint. I bought my Toyota in 2010 brand new. I'm have been driving it around with my children in the car with these dangerous airbags. Since the airbag company has been fined, the people should get this money for a rental car or replacement car. Since we can't sell the car we have to put our family in this dangerous car every day. Is Toyota just waiting for people to get killed or seriously hurt? just like VW they had to buy back the cars and they weren't even a danger. But we are driving in these dangerous cars every day.

Takata recall. NHTSA recall no. 16V-340. This has been going on for almost a year & after several attempts with the local fort myers Toyota, I still have not had any satisfaction in correcting the problem. I can't continue to help care for 2 elderly adults without using my car. I have to use their vehicle, which is difficult when you try to schedule several doctors appointments & other appointments that are necessary. I have really tried to be patient but it's getting harder & harder to fulfill my obligation. Please help me get this resolved. Thank you

Tanks inflators, dealer has had my car since August 2016. They are furnishing a rent car, but mine is just sitting, dead battery and drying tires and oil seals. Never started, which is bad for the car. Toyota could have just bought the car for what they have paid in rental fees. I am concerned the car won't be worth having by the time I get it back.

Takata recall.........Toyota has almost a year to fix this problem. Please make it where my friends can ride in the front seat. This is ridiculous. I purchased this car because of Toyota's safety rating March 2010, the next day there was a recall and it has gone down hill since. I paid cash money for my car and cannot afford to purchase another. If the airbags or any other safety recall is not fixed asap and something happens I or my heirs will own Toyota! and takata! get busy!!!!!! nothing happened yet but does it have to?

Takata recall it has been nearly a year and Toyota still does not have a fix. This is entirely too long. Toyota need to be forced into additional compensation for this recall. It has been extremely difficult and frustrating that nobody can use the front passenger seat. A class action lawsuit is warranted!
