Audi Corporate issued a recall on my vehicle because of the ignition spring problem - if the spring breaks, the ignition can lock. If you have a 96 or 97 Audi A4 and have not received your recall letter yet, check with your local Audi dealership. I haven't actually noticed the problem on my vehicle, but they say it might happen.
