Purchased the car with 49000 miles on it was a leased vehicle with all Audi services done on regular basis. After one week my Wife told me it needs OIL ! this went on for ever ADD OIL ADD OIL ! Finally Audi replaced Pistons and rings with in a few months same problem came back. Last time it needed OIL I stopped put OIL in and within 300 FEET a CLOUD of WHITE SMOKE CAME OUT of EXAUST PIPE AND ENGINE QUIT ! Had it towed to AUDI 175.00 TOW Bill Audi changed OIL and Spark plugs charged me 775.00 for repairs because plugs and oil change is not covered with extended warranty . Now back to TRACKING OIL comsumption What is next ? Is a real NICE car just want WHAT I PAID FOR ! a CAR THAT DOES NOT CONSUME OIL each time it is driven. Was a leased vehicle Audi knew the problems with this car and still PASSED it on to next Person

Need to refill 1qt of oil for every gas tank or 400 miles.
Update from Jul 1, 2019: Audi of America did want to cover any cost because its after 8y/80k miles limit.
I paid for oil consumption test and stage 1 fix and issue is still there.
Audi need to fix all its engines because its proven to be a faulty design.
