Transmission went out at 104,000 miles. This seems to be a common problem on Audi's. the car was a $55000 car! I ended up selling it for parts, as the cost of a new transmission was more than the market value. I will never buy Audi again.
My 2006 Audi A-6 cvt jerks on start-up or will not engage for several seconds and then leaps fprward. Dealer says there is a problem but does not report what the problem could be.
Problems with transmission failure. The drain holes were not apart of the 20K miles maintenance. The consumer learned that the plenum chamber cover should have been removed during maintenance at which time any evidence of debris would have been obvious to the technician. The problem was due to water damage under the cowl, which destroyed the transmission computer.
