TSB Document:

Affected Component: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING

Summary
In the event of a catalytic converter failure, which could negatively impact tailpipe emissions, existing diagnostics may not properly illuminate the check engine light (MIL) due to an error identified with Rear O2 Sensor monitoring. Additionally, under certain conditions it is possible that a diagnostic anomaly may occur during the initial drive cycle when coming to a stop, potentially causing the Start/Stop system to not operate as intended. In such a case the engine may go into limp mode, a condition where the vehicle can still be driven but with restricted RPM, accompanied by illumination of the check engine light (MIL).
