I included this in my first complaint, but now you can have the same complaint in a short time. I was driving slowly on a curving road not close to the other vehicle. When a pop was heard and I thought the small stone hit the frame. No, it hit the windshield and a crack was started in the windshield. This is a complaint because I just had the windshield replaced because of a similar incident less than a week before. March 19 and March 24 not even 7 days apart. Due to Covid I don't even have 15,000 miles on my 2 year old car. So what would have happened had I drove it as much as an average driver without a lock down? I fear my insurance company will cancel us if this keeps up.

I've been driving safely for many many years. I have never had to replace a windshield. I avoid being behind trucks and keep a safe distance. So when a small rock bounced up and cracked my windshield on the passenger side, I got it replaced immediately. It was a pain because not all windshield people can calibrate the front camera in the windshield area.

Then not even a week later, I was going slower on a winding road. A pebble from a Lincoln Sedan bounced and seemed to hit the frame but not so a new crack in the windshield in less than a week. What's up with that? I have had many cars for over 200,000 miles and never had a crack. I've had chips that were an easy fix but a crack at the very least can get you a ticket when it is in the driver's side it can cause distractions of view. I have owned Buicks before so it's not the make. Maybe the model design?

What can be done? And is this common for anyone else too? I am moving to another state soon and the insurance coverage for windshield replacement is more than double. Help!
