While turning into the bank parking lot at 10mph the car just stalled. I was unable to brake or steer out the way. When gas gauge reads empty I am unable to fill the tank with gas as it begins to spill back out. Gas gauge reads 1/2 full when it is really empty? miles to empty sensor incorrect therefore I have no idea when I need gas. Driver side exterior headlamp seems dimmer than the other lamp. After repairing the entire front end(suspension) still sounds like the front end is going to fall apart when driving on Ohio roads. Felt it was necessary to document as I do not feel safe in this car.

When I initially purchased my vehicle, 2005 Chrysler Pacifica, from genesis auto sales located at 1005 springdale rd in austin, tx. 78721 there was noise by the front left tire. After bringing this to the companies attention they agreed to fix it. The kept the vehicle about a week. The day I picked it up my father looked it over and found duct tape on the part, cv joint. I took the vehicle back and also mentioned the horn also went out. The company agreed to fix this again as well as perform my inspection as the sticker had expired. The car was kept another 2 weeks. When the vehicle was picked up for a second time the car began overheating. At this time my father and mechanic looked it over and found a busted hose, but they noted that the cv joint was duct taped again this time covered in grease. He also noted missing lug nuts on all tires. I brought this up to the company again who refused to listen. I filed a complaint with dmv, BBB, oag, ftc and dps. Dps sent out an investigator who took pics as well and also noted that the tint on the vehicle was illegal and that not only were lug nuts missing but the lug bolts were broken off. All this as well as the motor mount have since been replaced. The bolts holding the cv joint and motor mount were also found not to be the proper size. On 12/24/11 as I was driving my seat belt became unbolted from the vehicle. I was able to place it back in where it came from but it is not secure. The company refuses to help with these problems and I will be pursuing legal action as all problems with the vehicle have been safety hazards and I am now unable to drive the vehicle for fear myself or my family will be injured as im not sure all problems have been fixed as different noises still occur.

I own a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica and it is stuck in park, and has been for a week now. It will start up, and you can hear the shifter click when you step on the brake, but you cannot move the shifter stick to put it in another gear. It will go over to park, but cannot get the shifter to come down to put it in gear. I have told the Chrysler company about the defect, but they are not willing to do anything about it. I have went online and read numerous complaints about Chrysler vehicles getting stuck in park, and people are manually going under the hood to pull the brake out of park. This is a safety feature that in order to move the vehicle, you have to have your foot on the brake to put it in gear. Without this safety feature in place, a vehicle could roll into the street, or if a child is left alone in the vehicle, they could easily put it in gear. This is dangerous because I am more than sure, people are not taking the vehicle to a dealer to have this safety feature put back in place, once they get it unstuck. People have been stranded because their vehicle got stuck in park. This is something that should have a recall and Chrysler needs to fix this problem. This is an old story. 2005 Chrysler pasifica. I adjusted (move forward) accel and brake pedal position by electric position adjustment system. Then I went to a highway (I94, mi), my car did not speed at all. Very slow. So, I could not follow the flow of other vehicle, I was almost be crashed. I immediately quit from the highway and checked the pedals. The reason of the issue was poor stroke of the pedals. In case of Pacifica, when we move the pedals forward more than middle position, moving range of the accel pedal was reduced less than half because the pedal hit on the floor. Also, this problem causes auto cruise system problem. Because the pedal can not move more than half of its range, the system can not pull the pedal correctly. Then the vacuum hose drops out from the line. My vehicle suddenly slow down when the problem occurred. I went to Chrysler service center and they reconnect the vacuum hose again. I am sure this is a design error and should be improved immediately. Maybe recall.
