Fuel mileage is rotten. Truck got OK mileage, not great, but it's a truck..... Around 75000 miles the mileage dropped from 16 or 17 mpg to 9 mpg LIKE A ROCK. Have had a tune up and replaced some sensors and nothing is helping. Have another vehicle I drive for everyday back and forth to work but need a truck for hauling and other county duties. The muffler fell off around a month ago and guess what, my mileage went back up to 13 and 14 mpg. Had muffler shop tell me to take off the converter and add a new muffler and it might help mileage go up even more. Am going to try and see if that takes care of this problem. Gas is not cheap.

THIS VEHICLE HAS DONE A HECK OF A JOB FOR ME. Its problems have been normal wear & tear as you would expect on any vehicle. So two months ago when my fuel milage fell by 6 miles from 22 miles down to 16 -17 miles per gallon I have to wonder why. Truck is not running to rough as you would notice and

it is not burning oil or smoking. Any info would be appreciated.
