The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. The vehicle has grumman allied long life tires. The contact stated that four ply tires are not strong enough to tow or be used with four wheel drive. While driving 65 mph, the rear passenger side tire blew out. The contact went to have the tire replaced and was informed that it was a light duty tire. The front driver side tire has a crack on the sidewall, facing the rim. All four tires were replaced, but the dealer stated that they were not covered under warranty. The tire size and dot number were unknown. The current mileage was 23,926 and failure mileage was 23,885.
The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. The vehicle has Michelin ltx A/S, size LT265/70R17 tires. While driving 70 mph, the passenger side rear tire blew out and destroyed the sidewall. The contact returned the tire to an inspection station and was informed that it failed due to a manufacturer defect. He notified Michelin of the failure, but they refused to speak to him and would not replace the tire. The current and failure mileages were 3,321.
