Head gasket began to leak oil. Vehicle taken in for repair. Repair costs $1100. The transmission began to leak profusely at 60,000 miles. The cost for that repair which has not been done yet is estimated at $2500.

The engine check light has come on intermittently since I bought this car. Most of the time the dealships have told me it was a false code. In Dec. Of 99 I took it to a transmission place and they said their computer told them that the car had burned a shift clutch in the transmission and it would cost 1200 because they had to tear into the transmission.
