The contact owns a 1986 grumman longlife (na). While exiting the vehicle, the contact closed the door and his middle finger was caught between the sliding door and the door frame. As a result, 1/3 of the contact's finger was amputated. Medical attention was required. The manufacturer was out of business and could not be notified. The VIN was invalid.
