I bought this vehicle new and from the beginning, when starting the car, the check engine light will come on along with the drive light. If the check engine light comes on alone then I cannot put the car into drive as I have to shut the car off and then go through the steps to start it again. I have mentioned this to the Ford Dealership several times and they have said it was checked during the regular maintenance checks and nothing was wrong. I finally figured out that they need to keep the vehicle and start it numerous times a day or to further check the vehicle out specifically for this problem. My lease ends in just a few months so I want to decide whether I should keep this vehicle or not, however based on the response I've had from the Dealership, I'm not impressed with their "checking it out" to date.
