From reading several different complaints on several sites, I believe I have a problem with a scroll compressor valve. I have talked with four mechanics, only one, AAA, has ever heard of the valve. Not even a Ford mechanic has heard of it, yet many people have this complaint. Blows warm air at idle, increase the RPM, cools some...just not enough to keep up with the heating of the sun. Why is it so hard to find someone that knows about this?

I got this car used. don't have any history on the ac ever working right when I purchased it. it was cold when I did. when summer got here, well it would blow cool air on the interstate, but in the city, you had to open the windows. had a vacuum pulled and the Freon replace. still does the same thing. now I here that I need to replace the compressor, and the line .

a/c not cold enough and heat not warm enough

In the winter, the heat would work but not to the extent that it should. I would warm up my car, for at least 20 minutes and it would be just warm, not hot (I had it set to 90 degress).

In the summer (90 + degrees), the AC felt like a vent when driving the car. Sitting idle? Forget it, it blew out warm air.
