The 2010 Ford Fusion has a 8 year, 100,000 mile hybrid component warranty. My vehicle only had 35,000 miles on it but was out of the 8 year warranty by 7 weeks. Both the dealership and Ford Customer Care declined to cover the repair stating "we have no program for this vehicle to cover this repair." And to make matters worse, the battery charger is on "national back order" and I will be without this vehicle for at least two weeks until the repair can be made. I am out the cost of a rental car in addition to the almost $900 for the repair.
