Summary
Some 2022 Maverick vehicles may exhibit an illuminated MIL with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P025A, P025B, P00C6, P008A, P0627 and/or U0109 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to an intermittent or partial disconnect of the harness, connector pin push-outs or loose/corroded grounds to the fuel pump control module (FPCM) connector, PCM connector and/or battery junction box connector. Inspect the following connectors: C1381B (2.5L hybrid) or C1551B (2.0L engine), C1035A, C4033, C219, and C405. Verify the connections are fully seated, without damage and/or pushed out pins/terminals prior to performing Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics or replacing any components. Inspect G406 and verify it's clean and secure. If any connector damage is found, repair as necessary. Refer to Wiring Diagram, Cell 005.
