The blower motor only worked on high and eventually knocked the fan off balance due to being on high all the time. Sometimes it didn't work at all. It was the blower motor resister which was a very common problem with the GMC Envoy. You can get the part for $30 to $45 depending if you have auto A/C or not. The cheapest place I found it was at AM Auto here is the link.

If that isn't the problem you may have to change out the blower motor itself and that's an extra $51 or so. Hope this helps.

Envoy SLE V6

its always something. i've taken my truck in for repairs on the alarm going off when i open the hatch or the back doors. the wipers didnt work, numerous recalls (at least 6), half of the rear defroster doesnt work and its not covered under the warranty. i was told it would be about $700 to get a new rear window. nothing was fixed with one trip to the dealer.
