SOMETIMES, the right turn signal does not blink. It turns on, and a buzzing (that I do not recognize) comes from somewhere around the passenger door under the dash. (When making a right turn, I manually move the turn handle on and off.) When the problem is in this mode, the cruise control does not work, and the dome light and under hood light do not come on when the door/hood opens.
However, the problem switches back and forth to this: right signal works, cruise works...but with every blink the temp reader/direction light on the roof flicks on and off, AND turns off whenever the brake is depressed.
Left signal is operating like a charm.
I never know which mode it will be in when I start driving. Sometimes it switches from one mode to the other during a trip. I assume there is some loose wire or connection somewhere, but I don't know where to begin looking. I have checked all of the fuses that are related to all of the affected devices, but all are good. There doesn't seem to be a relay associated with the turn signals--only fuses.
