On Jan.15,2003, I purchased five ( 5 ) dunlop rover A/T bsl tires for my 1999 chev Suburban from just tires 408 haddonfield rd. Cherry hill, NJ 08034 and paid cash for same. At the end of October 2004, my wife had a flat to the right rear of her vehicle, aaa responded and changed the tire for her, when she took the tire to a garage for repairs, she was advised that said tire could not be repaired due to sever cracking of the inside tire wall near the rim, the mechanic placed a plug in same and told her to get the vehicle back to just tires and advise them that he found all the tires to be in the same condition, causing an unsafe vehicle. When I took the vehicle and tire to just tires, I was told that due to a plug being inserted into the tire, which was not placed back on the vehicle, the warranties were voided and they would not do any thing about it. Mr. Chris pentz the manager further informed me that since I purchased these under a corporate name and paid cash it was my problem. I am concerned that these cracks in these tires could result in a equipment failure and request that dunlop replace same. My odometer reading at the time of purchase of the tires was 54078 and reading at time of failure was 79398.
