Terrain SLE V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 72,000 miles

Had vehicle in 5-6 times for engine problems. Engine light came on after all these services and many major different parts of the engine were replaced. The engine was finally replaced with a re-manufactured engine. The heater was not working right.Several vehicles with the same engine and the same year, the heaters were not always blowing hot air at idle. There were at least 3 cars whose v6 engines had issues at this dealer.

I could not believe the story I heard on how they tried to fix the heater issues. I still have warranty so I will not write down what they tried.

After that, the heater had to be replaced because after that it was not working, blowing cold air. While idling heaters need to work in Michigan winters all of the time.

Now the car exhaust started making a rattling noise at a cold startup for 5 - 10 minutes on the left exhaust only.
