One day while driving I noticed an odd rhythmic pulsing in the wheels of my car. It seemed like it had a flat tire or the wheel was loose. I checked both and they weren't the problem. I had it checked out and it was the lower ball joints in the front were worn out and needed to be replaced. The repair shop said they couldn't get the part and they would fix it if I could find the parts.

I researched and found out that the ball joints are a part of the lower control arm, so the entire control arm would have to be replaced. And I also learned that they aren't easy to come by. Very few places still make them. It would've cost me 120 per control arm.

The roads I live in are very bad, that plus the car came from Milwaulkee contributed to the ball joints failing. Which resulted in me finally parking the car and selling it for parts. The rust began to take it's toll and the ball joint problem didn't help things.

It's sad because I was so excited when I got the car and I really enjoyed driving it. I'll always remember my little Ghettro.
