I don't know anything about cars. I am really worried about mine though. My car is making an awful grinding noise with a little rattling sound that may or may not be related every time I accelerate even a little. It sounds similar to the noise a car will make when the brake pads have been worn away -- it's metal on metal. My friends drive my car and they aren't worried about it, but I am the one who has to pay for it to be fixed, and I am worried. Any comment or diagnosis would be appreciated.
