The contact owns a 2014 Hyundai Genesis coupe. While accelerating from a stop light, a loud, unknown noise was heard coming from the rear of the vehicle. The contact stopped and exited the vehicle, and noticed that the differential detached with all the screws on the ground. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. Two weeks later, the vehicle was towed to the kendall Hyundai dealer (located at 15895 S dixie hwy, miami, fl 33157), but could not be serviced because a representative had to inspect the vehicle first. The contact called the dealer three weeks later and was informed that he would had to pay a diagnostic and repair fee. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired due to the cost. The vehicle still remains at kendall Hyundai. The contact called the manufacturer and was informed that they would get back to him. No further assistance was provided. The manufacturer did not get back with the contact. The approximate failure mileage was 34,000.
