With only 87,000 kilometers, I was told that both Front Lower Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assemblies had to be replaced. They must be in good shape to pass annual inspections. The car drives and rides OK, but replacement required. Parts were not readily available.

Car is two wheel drive and has had very limited off-road driving, so it is not clear why these parts failed.
