It has actually happened 3 or 4 times since I bought my Kona. The car will alert me that the trunk is not closed all the way, but when I try to open it, I can't. I have now realized an easy fix is to just turn off the car and restart it. Then I can open the trunk and the stupid alarm stops. I haven't bothered getting it looked at by the dealership yet but I am going to mention it next time I take it in to get serviced
