The third time we opened the sunroof after purchasing the vehicle, the motor failed and it was stuck open. Dealer had to replace with new motor from factory, which took a month. We had to tape the top shut in the meantime to keep rain out and leaving the car susceptible to easy break-in while waiting for the new part to arrive at dealership.
