A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

THIS CAR IS PROBABLY GOING TO GET ME KILLED IF I DON'T GET RID OF IT. THE LOSS OF POWER HAS HAPPENED OVER AND OVER AT DIFFERENT SPOTS. THE SCARIEST WAS ON THE EXPRESSWAY. ALL OF A SUDDEN IT JUST CUTS OUT AND WON'T GO ABOVE 30MPH. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE THE WAY MY FOOT WAS ON THE GAS PEDAL BUT THAT ISN'T IT.

I HAVEN'T TAKEN IT INTO THE DEALER YET BUT PLAN ON IT. THE PROBLEM IS SO SPORADIC THAT I DOUBT THEY'LL DO ANYTHING.

I ALSO HAD MANY MANY PROBLEMS WITH THE CD/RADIO/BLUETOOTH AND HAD THE CONSOLE REPLACED 2 TIMES.

I HATE THIS CAR AND WANT TO DITCH IT. WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I TAKE IT IN TO THE DEALER AGAIN. WASTE OF TIME, PROBABLY.

Veloster Turbo 1.6L

  • Automatic transmission

I don't need the extra loss of power when I am racing. Its totally bullshit how the turbo will stop working as in spooling up. It is not the best thing for you when you are racing. When you race you need to have perfect and mean and power runs. You can't have that bullshit where your turbo stops spooling up when you are racing.

Veloster

  • Automatic transmission

I have read several complaints about the same problem I am having with my new Veloster before I had it towed to the dealership this morning. Issue was loss of power while driving and failure to accelerate past 40 mph on a busy highway, which it did VERY slowly, if at all, when flooring it. Would also stall if I removed my foot from the accelerator pedal. Dealership have diagnosed it as an internal computer failure and are replacing the PMC. Hope to get my car back tomorrow and will let you all know if that fixed the problem. :)
