The contact owns a 2003 Hyundai XG350. The contact noticed that the air bag warning light remained illuminated. The dealer stated that there was an internal failure with the air bag module and they replaced the sop module. Approximately three months later, the air bag warning light illuminated again. The dealer stated that there was a connection failure with the sensor and they made the repair. Approximately five months later, the failure recurred. The dealer stated that they cleared the air bag light. The failure recurred three additional times. The dealer has been unable to diagnose the cause of failure. The current mileage is 92,700 and failure mileage was 59,987.
Struck on drivers side.damaging both doors, roof, and B pillar.side impact airbags did not deploy.side impact airbag sensor had to be replaced when the auto was being repaired. Sensor was breaking away from it's mount.
