I've been drivng cars for 60 years and in that time i've had tire, transmission, battery problems, BUT I NEVER HAD A PIECE OF THE CAR FALL OFF. This is a piece of decorative moulding that runs accross the top of the door from front to rear door. I lost the drivers side moulding. I am out of warranty because of years but not mileage. I had 47000 miles at time of problem. Kia dealer wanted $600.00 to replace part, when I said no they called back and said I can have it at there cost of $400+. Thet said they were penalized by hq if they returned parts. I called hq saying it should be there responsibility. They said it was out of warranty
I THINK BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF THE PROBLEM KIA SHOULD BE RESPONSIBILE
