This van engine was well maintained, there was no indication of any problems. Was serviced by a licensed mechanic for all oil changes. The van just quit at an intersection, Our mechanic found lots of metal shavings in the oil filter. We reported it to the dealership, they were not interested, says it doesn't happen to the 6 cylinders, just the 4. We wrote to Kia but received no reply. Had to sell it as a mechanic special for very little money. I will NEVER buy another KIA. My mother's Sorento did the same thing but luckily she was covered by warranty and Kia installed a new engine. Kia's are horrible!
